Honeycomb are delighted to assist our client, a Global Financial Services company, with the recruitment of a Senior Relationship Manager. This is a full-time, permanent position. A brilliant opportunity for someone to expand on their experience within relationship management in the financial services industry.

Your Package:

  • Hybrid model - 4 days per month in the office (more during training)
  • £38,000 - £42,000; depending on experience
  • Annual bonus; dependent on personal and company performance
  • 5% pension
  • Stock options
  • Private medical care
  • Unlimited leave policy
  • Travel opportunity (approx. once per month within UK)

The Company:

A global financial services business operating in Belfast, working offering bespoke life and pensions support to their high-net-worth clients throughout the UK. You would be joining a team dedicated to supporting a network of Financial Advisors and their clients, specialising in pension and investment products, and working in an inclusive office environment with a dynamic culture.

The Role:

  • Senior Relationship Managers (SRMs) support key Partner businesses through various channels
  • The main purpose of the role is to work with Senior Stakeholders within Practices to ensure smooth running of the admin side of their business, preventing the need for escalation by engaging in regular dialogue with the business
  • SRMs document errors and communicate them to operational teams
  • SRMs will hold regular governance calls with key Practice stakeholders and work with internal colleagues to ensure completion of work within designated timescales
  • They work with the Head of Quality, taking ownership of complex issues, and ensure resolution for the appropriate outcome, maintaining ongoing communication and using trend analysis for efficiency
  • The SRM will own and track complex issues/non-standard enquiries through to completion

Your Responsibilities:

  • Cultivate strong relationships with key senior contacts
  • Prioritise Partner satisfaction, providing a personalised approach to issue resolution
  • Proactively anticipate and address potential issues, demonstrating exceptional handling of complex cases and complaints
  • Collaborate with Senior Support Managers and Support Staff for swift resolution of client issues, particularly for escalations
  • Initiate and attend office visits, strengthening existing relationships
  • Work with operational contacts to ensure proper focus and priority for inquiries
  • Analyse escalations and complaints, offering suggestions for process and customer experience improvements
  • Collaborate internally to drive excellence in service delivery and support Partner business goals
  • Act as an ambassador for the admin centres, promoting a unified team ethos
  • Identify potential process flaws, channelling feedback through operational channels for service improvements
  • Utilise available tools to track and ensure cases in the pipeline meet standards
  • Travel is expected to Practices approximately once per month (UK Mainland)
  • Please note, this is a relationship management role, not a people management role

Your Experience:

  • At least 5 years financial services relationship management experience
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities across all levels
  • Robust organisational and time management proficiency - including ability to manage own workload effectively
  • Experience challenging decisions at all levels
  • Demonstrated commitment to meeting deadlines with minimal supervision
  • Proven track record of effective relationships with internal and external clients, emphasising prompt and professional responsiveness
