Financial Services Administrator
The Client
Honeycomb is delighted to be partnering with an established and highly regarded financial planning firm in the recruitment of a Financial Services Administrator. This is an excellent opportunity to join a professional and supportive team that provides tailored financial planning services to its clients.
The Role
The Financial Services Administrator will provide comprehensive administrative support to Financial Advisers, helping to ensure that client cases are processed accurately, efficiently and in line with regulatory requirements.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Preparing and processing new business applications across pensions, investments and protection products.
- Producing client documentation, valuations and review packs.
- Managing Letters of Authority and obtaining information from providers.
- Liaising with clients, advisers, providers and other third parties.
- Monitoring applications and progressing cases through to completion.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date client records.
- Updating internal systems and ensuring all documentation is correctly recorded.
- Supporting the preparation and implementation of annual client reviews.
- Handling client queries professionally and efficiently.
- Ensuring all work is completed in line with FCA requirements and internal compliance procedures.
- Providing wider administrative support to the financial planning team as required.
The Person
Previous experience working within an IFA or financial planning environment is essential for this position. You should have a good understanding of financial products and the administrative processes involved in supporting Financial Advisers.
The successful candidate will have:
- Previous financial services administration experience within an IFA or financial planning firm.
- Experience supporting pensions and investment business.
- Strong knowledge of the new business and client review process.
- Excellent organisation and attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- The ability to manage competing priorities and progress cases independently.
- Confidence liaising with clients, advisers and product providers.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and financial services systems.
- A professional, dependable and client-focused approach.
