Honeycomb is delighted to work with our client, a leading technical solutions provider, to recruit for a Transport Planning Lead on a permanent basis. Based in greater Lisburn, the business has experienced consistent growth across all verticals. The organisation provides products and services across Europe, with a strong presence across the UK. The role of Transport Planning Lead is a highly unique and interesting position. The perfect opportunity for someone with a strong transport planning background who has an interest in systems/technologies and process improvement. The position involves managing a small team of Transport Planners directly. Alongside the day to day supervision of the team, you will be responsible for the implementation of a new transport management system. This is a significant investment for the business and an exciting time to significantly improve working processes. The role will involve bringing other employees along on the journey of process improvement and spearhead the new system.

The right person for this role will be a transport planning professional with demonstrable experience gained within a haulier/transport contractor. The right person will have held a supervisory position previously and be highly IT savvy.

The package for this role contains a salary of £40,000 - £43,000. There may be slight flexibility for the right candidate, this can be discussed upon first stage with Honeycomb. Hours of work are normal office hours with an early Friday finish! No shift work or anti-social hours.
